Since its opening in November 2008, The Vecteur has established its place in Belgium’s cultural landscape. The on-going aim of the project is to offer a vision into the merging of cultures, contemporary arts, brought together by multidisciplinary approaches to promote cultural infusion.
There are 8 associations, interacting with each other under the same roof at the old theatre, "Vaudeville", in Charleroi’s (in the south of Belgium), Marcinelle street.
The public has the opportunity to discover various cultural events : concerts (all styles of music, especially rock, noise, experimental and electro), exhibitions, cinematic showings, numeric art and litterature events. Editing, radio and the hosting of artistic residences are also part of our activities.

Sinds november 2008, heeft “Le Vecteur” een sterke plaats veroverd in het culturele landschap van de Franse Gemeenschap. Samen met de overkoepelende VZW Orbitale, heeft het project als doel een visibiliteit te geven aan de nieuwe trends in de cultuur, waarbij de voorkeur wordt gegeven aan een multidisciplinaire aanpak. Vandaag gaan 8 partnerverenigingen mee in onze dynamiek en gedachtegang, dit alles in het oude theater van Vaudeville (l’ancien théatre du Vaudeville), rue Marcinelle in Charleroi. Het publiek kan er een grote waaier van verschillende culturele activiteiten ontdekken : Concerten, literaire lezingen, per jaar 4 voorstellingen/exposities van plastische kunst, bijeenkomsten over digitale en plastische kunst, …..of cinematografische projecties.
